Hey guys,
It’s been a while since I’ve put up a new post so this is long overdue. Of course, my title describes exactly how I’m feeling at this moment. COVID-19 still has its grip on the world and we are still socially distancing day by day. At this moment, schools are still in session so between working full time and being a 2nd and 9th grade teacher, overwhelmed seems to be my middle name lately. The demands of my job has been a bit stressful this week and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I have been contemplating a few changes in my life regarding my employer. But that’s another story for another day! In the meantime, I am finding various things I can do to help me relax. After researching a bit I came across a few ideas that I’m excited to try, even if I can only steal about 15 minutes of “me” time.
- Soaking in a hot bath
- Taking a long walk
- Exercising
- Going for a drive without a destination
- Meditate
- Read a book (the one that has been on your shelf for a while)
- Watch your favorite Netflix flick
- Sing and Dance to your favorite tune
- View live cam views of your favorite destinations
- Take a nap
I know it is a very stressful time for everyone so I’m hoping with some of these suggestions, you can find a bit of time to unwind in this crazy world we live in.
